By accessing or using the services provided by Valkra, a product of Autheo ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Services

Valkra provides smart contract security analysis services, including automated vulnerability scanning, manual security audits, consulting services, and related security assessments for blockchain-based applications. Our services are designed to identify potential security issues but do not guarantee the absence of vulnerabilities or the security of any smart contract.

No Guarantee of Security

While we employ industry-standard methodologies and tools to identify security vulnerabilities, no security assessment can guarantee the complete absence of flaws. Smart contract security is complex and evolving, and new vulnerability classes and attack vectors continue to emerge. Our assessments represent our findings at a specific point in time based on the information provided to us. You acknowledge that using our services does not guarantee that your smart contracts are free from vulnerabilities or will not be exploited.

Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about the smart contracts you submit for analysis. You represent that you have the right to submit any code or materials for our review and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or agreements. You are responsible for implementing any remediation measures and for the ongoing security of your applications. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the smart contracts and code you submit to us. We retain all rights to our analysis tools, methodologies, reports, and other intellectual property. Reports and findings we provide are for your use in connection with the assessed contracts and may not be resold or distributed without our permission. We may use aggregated, anonymized data about vulnerability patterns to improve our services.

Confidentiality

We treat the code and materials you submit as confidential information and will not disclose them to third parties except as necessary to provide our services, with your consent, or as required by law. You agree to keep confidential any proprietary methodologies or tools we disclose to you in connection with our services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valkra and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or funds, arising out of or relating to your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valkra and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
